ABOUT KATHRYN

       Kathryn is a Houston, Texas-born performer who has recently acquired her Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University, graduating summa cum laude and with Honors. She is passionate about spreading the joy of dance in any way possible, whether it be through performance, choreography, or teaching.  Her love of dance began at the age of 3, and she hasn't slowed down since. Growing up, she would convince friends and babysitters to put on shows in her living room-complete with costumes from the dress-up trunk. Years later, the performance bug carried her to The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where she was truly exposed to the world of musical theater. After attending a summer dance intensive at OCU, Kathryn knew that attending the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment was the next step in expanding her knowledge of the art form that had lit a fire in her soul all those many years ago.

Past favorite performances include On The Town (Ivy Smith), TEXAS! The Outdoor Musical Drama (Dancer, Lead Flame, Sadie Cline), Crazy for You (Mitzi), and Singin' in the Rain (Kathy Selden).
